About our Session:

This session is designed to help records managers, clerks, archivists and legal

explore the basics of paper document recovery and discuss the following topics:
• Common damage to paper records and reasons why we recover them
• Drying methods used to recover water damaged documents
• Methodologies used to recovery documents damaged by fire, smoke, mold and
sewage
• Realities of document recovery and how to calculate the cubic footage of affected
documents
